SPN - Balthazar -

So I said some time ago that sooner or later I'll start doing fanarts for Supernatural and here it is - Balthazar, probably my favorite character (together with Crowley and Dean, and most likely the rest of the cast, because I love them all... but Balthy's special ♥).

Since I was upset after the last episode and /that/ scene involving Balthazar, I had to cheer myself up, and so I spontaneously decided to draw his awesomeness in my style.

I was messing around with this picture. I decided to do it more realistically rather than in a manga style, I also left it in black&white with only a little colored details, I think it looks good like this :>

Either way, I really like how this turned out. I obviously used tons of references (I adore Sebastian Roché , but no, I can't draw him from memory, I'm not that good 8D"), most of them from screen-caps (had to re-watch Balthy's scenes over and over again to get the right ones, not that I complain, I could listen to him talking all the time ♥)

BTW, if you're wondering, that stone thing he's holding is Lot's Salt, the same one he "iodized the poor sucker" Raphael with. I'm pretty sure he stashed it somewhere and didn't return it to Castiel, just to have at least a little self defense in case he'll have his ass targeted again. And because iodizing other vessels is probably amusing to him, so there 8D

Anyway, I have 3 more of similar pictures prepared, one is almost ready. I want to do as many characters as I can.
